Want proof we haven't ? The grand state of Utah decided that a Rave party was going to be the rallying point for those pesky anti-Bush demonstrators. So instead of un-constitutionally breaking up the fest with a couple of locals, they brought in the SWAT team, complete with helicopters, dressed in camo, and let the dogs and tear gas fly.

Of course it wasn't an anti-Bush rally or a terrorist cell, it was a Rave. Yes, Utah decided that the SWAT team was needed just in case some 16 year old was having a little too much fun.

This story sounds VERY fishy.

I used to do a lot of personal traveling and here in Houston at the George Bush Intercontinental airport they charge $15 a day to park inside right next to the terminals. I am inherently lazy and always running late, so that is the only parking I use.

Well I used to go for 7-10 days at a crack, so to... lessen my parking costs, I would use a tire iron to trigger the magnetic sensor on the ticket machine to give me a new ticket so when I left the parking garage, they would only charge me for an hour, $2.

Anyways, I didn't travel for a long time, at least two years after 9/11. Well I tried my trick, security was all over me in a nano-second and I had to answer a lot of questions and I was thoroughly humiliated. Just for possessing a tire iron, I never told them about my scam.

The point is, why a bait car, they clearly state that they had video (with plate numbers), and a colonel going back enough times for them to setup a bait car at an airport. It just doesn't make sense, it reeks of setup. Or they are seriously lacking security, they have cameras at Wal-Mart watching the parking lot, but not at an international airport, ya right.

I am guessing this is either mistaken identity, the good colonel doesn't agree with the administration, or he really pissed someone off.

For the record I used to be a parking lot attendant in college, so I am a free parking mastermind and all deviant.

OK, so I think organized religion is a joke. Why you ask. In a word, hypocrisy.
Need proof, go check this out. A Catholic seminarian had sex with a woman and she got pregnant. She wanted child support and got it. Well once the seminarian became a priest, she wanted more. Guess what the Catholic's defense is, she should have used protection.

Holy Jesus H Christ, so when the pope says birth control is "banalisation of the human body" he only means when it isn't going to cost the church some cake. This woman, who was getting $210 a month wants enough to actually support her baby, the church says, fuck church doctrine, the whore should have used some common sense and protected herself against pregnancy. Exactly how many levels of hypocrisy does that reach ??

I didn't see the email, but I can pretty much guess what it said. I whole heartedly agree with her, but...

Because I am politically in tune, on a daily basis, I get somewhere between 30-60 non-spam, political emails asking me to do something. And equal amount of spam. From the ACLU to the One campaign to every cause imaginable. It really is too much, and I am getting tired of helping this cause or that cause only to get a email every other day wanting more.

I know we are fucked and we need to support the good cause, but how much can I give ?? Everyone and I mean everyone in my home address book is a republican. I pass along information I think will actually influence, to the people I think it might actually influence. I am sorry to Susan, but I am not going to stand in front of a tank or go on a hunger strike for a politician, regardless of his affiliation. Or more importantly, I am not going to lose my political clout for an election that I think was nothing but democratic hype.

Off topic. Ever notice every tiny small almost victory by democrats is always seen as some major victory. It drives me nuts. We lost, the rest is dribble. And not to be a pessimist, but the way things are going the only way democrats are going to seriously compete with republicans is to step down to their level, and I for one, am not going to be a member of a party that resorts to deception and manipulation at all costs.
